Greenpeace Illegal Logging Report 2017

Client: Greenpeace Romania

Year: 2018

Every year, approximately 8.8 million cubic meters of wood is illegally cut from Romanian forests. Since 2009, Greenpeace Romania releases an annual report describing this trend and evaluating the ways Romanian authorities respond to it. For the 2017 edition, we were commissioned to transform the raw data into a graphically appealing format, having different audiences in mind. This is how we came up with a diverse set of deliverables ranging from animated social media micro-content and infographics towards an interactive dashboard that allows experts to filter and visualize the content of the report.
